BL - Week 6

Sorry I havent made it back since Wednesday - I made a 1.2 pound loss last week but only ended up paying out to TWO people in the contest...  It WAS NOT a banner week for our group as between the 17 of us we only lost 2.6 pounds - My idea of motivating the group didnt work well at all.  SO its off to motivate myself...  We'll see how this week goes, only two days until weigh in and I havent posted a GAIN yet....

Hey 1.5 pounds a week is 78 lbs in a YEAR - I'd take it BUT I'd really like to make a push at winning this contest, got my work cut out for me...  Oh yea, and my 1.2 pound loss included 4 trips to the gym in which I left TOTALLY spent each time....  Maybe there is something in the air or maybe its just the week 6 curse, really everyone had trouble...

Wish me luck, I may really need it this week....

Biggest Loser - Week 5

1.6 pounds down for this week...  I have to remember that its a WIN but at this rate I wont be winning any contests so I need to step it up a bit...

After all were weighted in this week I put out a challenge to the group.  $5 wager on better percentage this next week and almost everyone hopped all over that SO I have my work cut out for me this week so no time to write here anymore have to get back to the gym...  :-)

Biggest Loser - Week 4

I did manage a 1.8 lb loss this past week which was okay considering the weekend I had on our boys fishing trip.  LOTS of drinks and LOTS of food, with that being said it has definately been worse in the past.  Thats 4 weeks in a row with a loss and a total of 13 lbs so far.  I'd really like to improve on my losses this next week and plan to incorporate more gym time.  Nutrition I can balance for the most part but GYM time is my downfall.

The only excuse I can come up with is being a bit LAZY.  I have MANY optins at my fingertips.  A.  A gym at our office that has weights and several cardio opportuities.  B.  A nice set up in my basement including a recumgant bike, an eliptical type machine and dumbells from 5 lbs to 50 lbs along with several different exercise videos and the Biggest Loser game on the WII.  And C.  A family membership to Urban Active which is about a half mile from my house....  SO, my MENTAL game is struggling a bit when it comes to the GYM.....

ONE thing I do truely miss is all the outdoor bike riding we did last summer, I can't wait for the weather to break so I can get back to that hard and heavy...

Just GOTTA figure out the GYM/Workout thing, gotta wrap my mind around the fact that there is not other way to be truely successful in this battle until I can make that happen. I wish the switch would flip on for me and  I wish it was a habbit that was as easy to form as smoking, I'd be the king then...  ANYHOW...

Keep the Faith and keep FIGHTING THE FAT...
